Well, for anyone that has been in touch with tech lately (or since 2010), Pinterest has probably been on your radar. This online way of collecting and pinning ideas, resources, crafts (anything really) has caught on and is now being used not just by individuals, but also by companies, schools, and even libraries!
As avid Pinterest fans, Lamoille's librarians are beginning to put together a Pinterest page for our students, teachers, and school community. We hope that once we create it, you will check out our pinboards and see what is happening in the Library, as well as books we recommend, new books to the Library, good sites to use for research and citations, and so much more! More information to come!

Edutech Smackdown Open Mic

Blackboard Collaborate was a great interface for this to be done in. The slideshow was viewed as the moderators chatted. The open mic aspect of the presentation was great! Not only did I hear from some of the great bloggers that I follow every day, I got to hear from people in the same situation (and not) as me.
First of all, I cannot wait for next year's open mic (a whole year?!?) but also, I am so excited to be kickstarted into the world of webinars and virtual discussions. This is the first of many that I am excited for!
